· Jeff, West Columbia bingo, thank you for adhering to the SC Law regarding the age requirement of young players. Those individuals serving in capacity as managers at St. Andrews Bingo does not abide by rules and regulations. Often, I have witnessed children as young as 6 years old playing bingo at both locations. Also, these children are allowed to play bingo on school nights. Recently, your customers at both West Columbia Bingo and St. Andrews Bingo have become concerned regarding certain individuals repeatedly winning jackpots and other games in the program. I am one of those customers. Jeff, could you tell me how is it these individuals win every other night; if not every night. These individual to which I am referring is known to hit two to three coveralls on a monthly basis. Also, these same individuals hit each night in the program and average at least two to three winning. Sometimes, their nightly winnings exceed above $500.00 nightly. The individuals to whom I am referring is Tommy and his sisters, Frank and Vermell, John, the elderly black gentleman who collects cans to recycle and approximately six others whose name I do not know, but are easily identified by myself and other players. Also, I have witnessed employees reaching underneath the counter to retrieve computers which is then given to selected individuals (mainly those named above). St. Andrews Beach Bingo is pathetic, employees make their own rules and their conduct is appalling. Where do these caliber (of people come from? These employees repeatedly assist family and friends in winning games (to include jackpots). How is it done?
Well, one employee makes it a point to distribute computers to the customers. It is evident that she knows exactly which computer is a potential winning computer. This employee makes every effort to see that her family and/ or friends are given winning computers. While the managers are seated, this employee is setting the computers. Once she has set the computer, she proceeds to disperse them to consumers seated. Also, this same employee repeatedly calls the coverrall games. Also, I have witnessed the above caller viewing individuals bingo sheets (No, not to ascertain if there are still daubing). Family and/or friends would sit(in view of the caller stand) with their back turned to the caller's stand, this provide the employee a view of the computer and what ball or balls needed to obtain the winning bingo. I would like to ask do your company have a policy that requires a set time frame for each caller to be on the stand? Does your company have a set policy for employees selling computers and paper sheets to family members? Does your company have set policies and procedures regarding how the runners distribute computers and how paper sheets are dispersed to the customers? Is it a requirement for runners to rotate the direction when selling paper sheets?
I viewed a customer throwing a computer into a trash box; management observed this and stated "I am going to ask you to leave? Earlier that evening, this same customer along with two others was speaking in a loud manner. The manager stated to the customer, "I am going to make you leave". The manager was perpetrating because she was aware that I was paying attention to the customer's conduct. Why wasn't this customer escorted out of the business at the beginning of the disruption? A frequent customer whose name is "Sharon" wins constantly. This individual won "three consecutive jackpot games this past week-end. The jackpot winnings were on paper. Wow, this is unbelievable. Please tell me how is this possible ( the Luck of the Irish)? This individual often request color changes.
Many of your loyal customers hace elected to cease patronizing St. Andews Beach Bingo, Mr. Bingo and West Columbia bingo as a result of the above practices. Some of these customers have begun migrating to Rock Hill, Clover and other surrounding areas which offer lower prices and better services.
It is my sincere hope your organization will be attentive to the above mentioned conditions,
Sincerely,Oyowoule
